Finding Glory ... and new Projects
As many longer-term raiders know, my hope with Raiders of the Serpent Sea is that it was just the beginning of a lot of new additional RPG content. This includes new books, but also digital materials.
If you click the “Raiders!” link on the header of this website it goes to a subpage with previews of these digital tools (raider loot generation, a hex-crawl worldmap of Grimnir, and the beginning of an encyclopedia of information about the clans and world history).
There’s also a page called “Projects”.
This new page lays out some freebies I’d like to release and provides a simple roadmap of when I might announce a new project. But it all depends on getting more reviews and ratings (and hopefully sales) on existing product. Do check it out and please let me know if you have suggestions on how to make this better / more fun for all of you. Are there other tools you might find useful to be here?
A few I’m thinking about:
- Playable versions of some of the games introduced in Raiders (perhaps with NPC portraits / stats when you play against characters such as Otis or Hrolf?)
- A character sheet generator–I’m working to improve the quality of the character sheets released as part of the Kickstarter (and when done, these will be added to the existing token pack on DriveThruRPG). While doing so, I think I might be able to allow users on the website to simply generate their own character sheets. Would that be useful?
- Any other ideas?
The best way to give feedback is just to email us at info@runictales.com but feel free to use any of our social media channels and the like instead.
Thanks, as always,
-Brent Knowles
